Anthea captured our wedding at Matilda Bay in April 2017 and we would highly recommend her to others.

My hubby and I are very laid-back and have never posed for professional photos before, so we were a little apprehensive at the idea of posing for photos.

The biggest two priorities we had planning our wedding was to book positive, friendly and real vendors and to book an amazing photographer. We hit the jackpot when we found Anthea! We made our wedding photos a priority, as they are the things that last long after the wedding day. My fiancé and I came across Anthea’s work online and instantly loved her photographs. When we enquired about prices and availability Anthea let us know that she had an upcoming expo on the weekend and that if we came along we would be able to take advantage of her promotion pricing. This was really lovely of her, and not something she had to do. Upon meeting Anthea at the expo she took the time to sit and discuss any queries with me and showed me through her albums. I instantly felt comfortable with her and this was something that was really important to me when choosing our photographer. I truly believe if you’re not comfortable with your photographer that this will show through in your photographs. I had met with other photographers and had not felt as relaxed as when I was with Anthea. Anthea doesn’t hesitate to help you in any way she can, even recommending makeup artists and videographers for us when we were having a tough time choosing!

She was also happy to travel down south when we expressed that we’d love to have our pre-wedding shoot in Margaret River. The shoot down south was so much fun and we adore the photographs! Anthea is incredibly organised and there wasn’t a single second where we had to worry about anything regarding our photography. We had a meeting in the week prior to the wedding, where we decided on the timing of the day and must-have photographs. On the day itself Anthea ensured all of our plans were met – she was a superstar! Our photos are absolutely stunning and we can’t wait to finalise our album that Anthea and her design team have done for us. Overall we’ve ended up with over 900 edited photos – we can only imagine the time and effort involved in processing all of them!

We had wondered whether it would be worthwhile having a photographer for our “elopement” but having just seen the photos, we are absolutely delighted that we decided to have you as part of our celebration. You captured the moments that we couldn’t have seen for ourselves and those that we had forgotten. We laughed and cried (happy tears!) on our first viewing as it bought back memories of the day. Although our wedding was very small and informal, you’ve managed to present us with images that are just as elegant and polished as a “black tie” affair. Above all else, we wanted a very relaxed, intimate family celebration and you helped us achieve this with your calm and professional manner, ability to put everyone at ease and blend into the background when required. You actually made having our photograph taken fun and we’re so very happy with the final results – not something that often happens with a group of camera shy people! Thank you once again Anthea, we can only assure your future couples that they will be in good hands and can put their trust in you.

Anthea photographed our Fremantle wedding in March 2016. We literally could not have been happier and are so glad we chose Anthea! Other than obviously wanting to have amazing photographs to look back on, a really important aspect I was after in looking for a wedding photographer was someone we instantly clicked with and that we knew would be super easy going and fun on the day. Anthea ticked both of these boxes above and beyond and we had so much fun with her and her assistant during the photo shoot. Last Sunday morning Anthea captured our amazing day. Words can not describe how grateful and appreciative my wife and I both were. We’ve seen the sneak peak and were in awe, constantly looking back. The photos turned out like something you find in wedding magazines.
